Women and Stress

The woman of today's world has many roles to play. The hectic home chores and long working hours have adverse impact on her physical and mental health.Women after the age of 40 always face a risk of suffering from hyper tension, heart diseases and risk of Osteoporosis .There are several ways in which stress can contribute to weight gain. If you remain in this state for a prolonged amount of time your health becomes at risk.
These below strategies may temporarily reduce stress, but they cause more damage in the long run: -

Smoking
Drinking too much
Overeating or undereating
Withdrawing from friends, family, and other activities
Using pills or drugs to relax or for sleep
Sleeping too much
Sitiing in front of the TV or computer for long
Taking out your stress on others like lashing out, angry outbursts, physical violence etc

There are so many benefits to physical activity like Stronger bones and muscles, better resistance to illness and more energy. But it's also a great way to reduce stress.People who are routinely active tend to eat better and a healthy diet also helps your body manage stress better.

45 min Light aerobics workout - helps to burn out calories and aerobics with music keeps you fresh after long working hours and busy schedule.
