But its important to select footwear before one buys. Poor footwear can cause knee pain , back pain and bad posture problems. There are different types of heels available in the market like

By following and remembering these simple steps, it is possible to look and feel your best -
1) Shop late in the day because your feet swell during the day.
2) Try to wear a consistent heel height. Varying your heel height up and down.
3)Chunky heels are much more stable than stilettos. Try to wear a wider, more supportive heel or even convert to platforms
4)Choose shoes that are comfortable . If they hurt in the store, don't buy them.
5)On an average your heel height should be lower than 3 inch heel.
6) Measure your feet every time you buy your footwear.
7)Most women also but their shoes too narrow buy footwear wider than you think you need.
8)Beware of the pointy-toed, high heeled shoe which is taper and gives a steep bend to your toe.It can be very harmful.
9) Always try to carry an extra pair if you are wearing high heels.
10) Get a regular pedicure and massage with regular applying lotion to your feet daily can help with corns and calluses.
